Abstract

Dear readers,

the jubilee 20^th volume of the PAIDEIA e-journal commemorates the first lady of the Czech philosophy of education and co-founder of the doctoral program at the Faculty of Education, Charles University, Prof. PhDr. Jaroslava Pešková, CSc. (March 20, 1929 – February 3, 2006). The published papers originate from the conference Jaroslava Pešková as a Philosopher and University Pedagogue, which was organized as an online meeting on February 3, 2026, by Assoc. Prof. Zuzana Svobodová to mark the twentieth anniversary of her passing. It was attended by many of Professor Pešková’s colleagues, students, and students’ students.
