Education as an intergenerational relationship: Jaroslava Pešková’s Philosophy of Education and its sources of inspiration. – The article deals with the issues and specificity of Jaroslava Pešková’s philosophy of education. It shows the sources of inspiration for her thinking about the ontology of education as an expression of the “need” of unfinished humanity according to Eugen Fink, as a life movement and care for the soul according to Jan Patočka, and her own contribution Jaroslava Pešková to the concept of education as an essential openness towards the world, other people, and towards oneself and one’s consciousness.
