Abstract

The Faculty of Sciences, University of Hradec Králová, received accreditation for doctoral studies in Chemistry Education, and thus became the third place in the Czech Republic which offers this field of study. Scientific and professional activities of the Department of Chemistry are presented as this department is responsible for the PhD studies. Courses for PhD students as well as their other duties are mentioned.
